If your husband is trying to hide income in a divorce case, is there a way to find out the truth?

I asked before if I could get copies of his tax returns (we've been divorced more than 3 years), but the answer was not legally unless he is a public figure or is part of a court case. Does a divorce or child support case count as a court case? (He wont produce them voluntarily).
